Gears Transmission and Drivetrain Repair has been serving Utah County and the surrounding area since 1995. We pride ourselves in being honest and treating people how we would expect to be treated. Our customer base has grown over the years off of referrals.  We stay very busy and are frequently 3+ weeks out. Please call ahead for an appointment to drop off your vehicle to be diagnosed. Appointment is for drop off, it may take longer to do diagnostics as vehicles are very complex and repairs take time.  

If you just need a service please try and schedule a month in advance as being a repair shop we do not have a quick lube bay. We strive to get a scheduled service done the same day but sometimes due to unforseen circumstances it may take longer.

Mike and Karen McCoy both grew up in American Fork and have lived in Lehi and American Fork. Mike has worked in the transmission industry for over 40 years. When an opportunity came to open his own shop he felt he could do his community a great service by offering an honest service at a competative price.

He also teaches part time at UVU in the automotive department. 

We have a great crew and most of our employees have been with us over 10 years. They also grew up in northern utah and enjoy serving the communities in which they live.
